Connolly NS was first opened in 1905. The Board of Management opened two new classrooms in 1994. Facilities are spacious and colourful and include a large yard and playing pitch.

The school is complemented by an on-site pre-school. The staff includes; two class teachers,Learning Support teacher, shared resource teacher and part time Special Needs Assistant. There are currently 44 children enrolled.
